32 Weeks
Well I am now at 32 weeks. Where has the time gone? I now have 5 weeks until the baby is considered "full term" and 8 weeks until my due date. As the time approaches it becomes more real to me (and to Kev). It seems that most of our conversations (and money) are about the baby. But, that is okay.
Like all first time parents we have many concerns, but the big one is financial. We want to be able to get our child what he/she needs (and wants- to a certain extent). It is going to be wierd to go on 1/2 time salery during my mat leave. Anyone who knows me knows that I like to shop- but over the last year that has decreased alot. I believe that both of us have become more financially conscience in the last year. We didn't have a choice. But, I am actually enjoying it. I like to save my money. (Who would have thought).
It is amazing to think about the amount of money we have spent over the last year. Since last March we have: bought a house (and all that goes along with that- hook up fees, down payment, lawyer, inspections, etc.) Bought furnature and other things to go in the house. Had a wedding. Bought a number of baby related items. That is alot of money in a year. (Of course we have also had help from our parents- thank you).
It will be tight for awhile- I know that- but the past year has prepared us for a bit of non-selfish spending- and I can't wiat. It is now "All about the baby" and "All about our family"

Yes the time is flying by. You sure have had lots of changes this past year, but both of you seem to be handling it well.
Did I mention I would like to know if this grandbaby is a girl or a boy? Maybe I did.
Love Mom
I to am on the side on knowing what this child is!!
Do you also realize how spoiled this child is going to be by their uncle.
